SkyiCam 3g Portable Remote provides a portable solution for short notice event setups that cannot be quickly or easily wired for power and network connectivity. The 2006 San Diego County Fair welcomed the world-renowned marine life artist, Wyland, as a major focus of the 2006 theme, "Ride the Tide to Fun."

From June 10-17, Wyland personally painted one of his famous Whaling Walls on the east wall of a new Fairgrounds building, the Expo Center. ( see Wyland Wall Case Study) This building, which is known as AgriFair during the Fair, is 65 feet high and 200 feet wide, with about an acre of exhibit space. Prior to the closing of the 2006 Fair, a dedication ceremony was held to formally rename the new structure as the Wyland Building. A portable and remote "wiresfree" SkyiCam was set up in less than a half hour to provide LIVE Internet access to the event for the Fairs website.
